Blessing Agbebaku, the speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, has tendered his resignation.

Following a conspiracy by parliamentarians to impeach him, Agbebaku resigned.

Ivy Ebojele, his media assistant, announced his resignation.

Ebojele stated that information on his resignation would be released at a later time.
