In honour of the 2025 Eid al-Kabir Sallah celebrations, the Katsina State administration, acting through the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, has announced a seven-day public holiday for students.  

This was said in a statement given to reporters in Katsina on Tuesday and signed by Kabir Dodo, the Ministry Director of Schools. 

"I have been instructed to write and notify you that all schools will be taking an Eid al-Kabir break starting on Wednesday, June 4th, 2025, and will resume on Wednesday, June 11th, 2025," the statement reads.

“All Public, Private and Community schools are to comply with the above directives.

“Wishing you happy Sallah celebrations.”
