Two people were killed at the Oriuzor hamlet in the state's Ezza-North Local Government by suspected gunmen, according to the Ebonyi police command.  

The SP  On Monday in Abakaliki, Joshua Ukandu, the command's spokesman, informed the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that the incident happened on November 1.  

According to Ukandu, Obumneme Nweke, a commercial tricycle operator known as "Keke Rider," was killed not far from the barber's store, while Ifeanyi Ogele, a barber, was shot and killed in his shop.  

He stated that the command has started looking into the killings' motivation and that the perpetrators will undoubtedly be taken into custody.

“For now, no arrest has been made but our men are on their trail,” Ukandu said.
