After Bidemi Omole, a young woman, passed away unexpectedly while visiting her boyfriend's residence, the Osun State Police Command opened an inquiry.  

According to community sources, Bidemi unexpectedly became ill on Friday night while visiting her partner, Yinka.  

Bidemi passed away in the town's Oke Esa neighborhood at around 9:30 p.m., according to witnesses.  According to a local who wished to remain anonymous, the deceased had no symptoms of illness before to the unexpected event.

He said, “We heard the cry for help and we all ran towards Yinka’s house. By the time I arrived, there were already many people there.

“I saw some security personnel at the house, but the crowd was overwhelming and it was already late. People were visibly shaken by what happened.”

Additionally, it was learned that the deceased was thought to have been getting ready to go to a vigil that night prior to her tragic passing.

“She usually attends vigil on Fridays. The police have since arrested the boyfriend, and he is with them now,” another eyewitness revealed.

The Osun Police Command has verified the occurrence in the meantime.  Abiodun Ojelabi, the Police Public Relations Officer, attested to the fact that the police were notified of the situation on Saturday.  

Additionally, he clarified that early reports suggested the deceased started throwing up soon after she got to her boyfriend's house.
