At the Ogolonto bus stop in Ikorodu, Lagos State, an enraged mob is said to have set a Bus Rapid Transit vehicle on fire after it fatally crushed a commercial motorcyclist.

Police and representatives of the Lagos Neighborhood Safety Corps reportedly intervened to save the bus driver from the mob after the incident infuriated locals.

The incident was described by X user #kinglammyjames, who wrote, "Live at OGOLONTO."

“A bike man was crushed to death by the BRT Bus and in turn, the STREET BOYS burned down the BRT Bus.”

As of the time this report was filed, the crash's circumstances, including the identity of the motorcyclist who died and the incident's cause, were still unknown.
