APC chairman collapses, dies at party reconciliation meeting in Kogi
Oyewole Mayowa Solomon, the chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the council, passed away at a party reconciliation meeting on Friday, causing fear in Kogi State's Ijumu Local Government Area.
TVC claims that the event happened while the deceased was attending a meeting called by Funsho Olumoko, one of his predecessors, with the goal of promoting harmony among local APC stakeholders.
The report states that Solomon abruptly collapsed during the meeting, leaving the attendees perplexed.
He was reportedly sent to a hospital in Kabba for treatment, but he died soon after. The circumstances surrounding his unexpected death had not been made public at the time this article was filed.
