Armed robbers attack Abuja estate, cart away properties

Early on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, armed robbers broke into the Federal Capital Territory's Efab Global Estate in Abuja.

The story claims that the robbers tied up two security guards and injured another after breaking through the back perimeter fence to enter the estate.  One of the victims was coerced by the robbers into transferring money to a bank account.

Zagazola Makama, a counter-insurgency specialist specialising in the Lake Chad region, revealed this in a post on X, revealing that the robbers stole laptops and cell phones during the assault.

According to the security specialist, he was told by police sources that the event happened at approximately 0405 hours, which prompted a distress call to the Divisional Police Officer at Life Camp Division.

According to Makama, the sources also said that police patrol teams arrived promptly, but the suspects had already left the area.

It was discovered that the injured security guard was taken to the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) for medical attention, and that security has since been bolstered throughout the estate.
