Bandits harassing Kyara village, a secluded border town in Sabon Birni Local Government Area, Sokoto State, have slain at least seven gullible locals. 

 The tragic occurrence happened early on Thursday, according to security expert Zagazola Makama, who revealed this in a post on X. According to reports, the incident took place in a community near the Nigerian-Niger Republic border. 

According to Makama, the robbers, who were reportedly numerous and equipped with advanced weaponry, overran the neighborhood, firing intermittently and frightening locals.

Seven people were shot and killed during the assault, and two more were injured. He claimed that an unknown number of domestic animals had been rustled and that around three locals had also been abducted. 

He claims that security personnel took the dead and injured victims to a hospital right away so they could be examined and treated.
