Afrobeats artist Davido has won the public's affection with both his music and a touching gesture.  

After seeing his impassioned rendition of Davido's most recent album, 5ive, containing Omah Lay's song "With You," the Nigerian singer gave Ghanaian TikToker Ananzooficial $5,000.  

After Ananzooficial uploaded a video of himself performing the song with genuine passion and almost flawless precision, the moment went viral.  Davido answered with the substantial financial incentive, evidently moved by the performance.

Released on April 18, 2025, Davido's 17-track album 5ive has been an enormous success, reaching the top of several platforms' rankings and receiving millions of streams.  

This deed of generosity strengthens Davido's standing as a musician who honours and encourages his followers in addition to being a worldwide music icon.
