34 alleged online scammers have been taken into custody by agents of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission's (EFCC) Ibadan Zonal Directorate.  

The alleged scammers were apprehended in the early hours of Monday in the Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti state, Iworoko and Ijado regions after reliable intelligence regarding their alleged fraudulent operations, according to Dele Oyewale, Head, Media & Publicity.  

Eleven exotic cars, laptops, multiple cell phones, and damning documents are among the goods he stated were found on the suspects.  When the investigations are finished, he said, the suspects will face charges in court.
