Socialite E-Money, whose real name is Emeka Okonkwo, was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in the Omole area of Lagos State on suspicion of money laundering. 

E-Money is currently in the custody of the EFCC in Abuja after he was seen at a public event allegedly spraying naira and some US dollar bills, though the specifics of the incident are currently unknown. 

It was alleged that the Chief Executive Officer of Emmy Cargoes Nigeria Limited and Five Star Music had violated Nigeria's Foreign Exchange (Monitoring and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act. 

As of the publication of this report, the EFCC had not yet released an official statement regarding his arrest.
