FG set to pay N45,000 monthly stipend to college students
For students enrolled in technical colleges nationwide, the Federal Government has announced an N45,000 monthly stipend.
Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) is being revitalised with this historic initiative.

He claims that the program is a component of a larger plan to reposition the TVET industry and make it a more alluring option than regular university education.
According to Bugaje, the new policy sought to increase sub-tertiary enrolment and expedite the growth of the TVET industry.
In addition, he stated that the government will pay industry-based supervisors, also referred to as "master class" teachers, where students complete industrial attachments, cover teaching fees, and pay for skill certification.
