Iyabo Ojo, a Nollywood actress and businesswoman, revealed that a fire destroyed her Lagos office.  The actress claims that the event happened on Tuesday night at approximately 7 p.m.  

A video posted to her Instagram feed showed how badly the fire had damaged a portion of the building.  However, the incident did not result in any fatalities.

“This just happened today, the 8th of July 2025, around 7pm. My office building caught fire,” she wrote.

Ojo expressed gratitude to her staff and the Lagos State Fire Service for their prompt action in preserving what remained.

“Thank you to the Lagos State Fire Service and my staff for salvaging what was left.

“Thankfully, no lives were lost. The devil tested us today, but God said no,” she added.

The actress, who is renowned for her fortitude, promised her admirers that she would recover more fully.

“With God on my side, we will bounce back bigger and better,” she said.
