One member of the well-known gospel group Adegbodu Twins, Taiwo Adegbodu, has reportedly passed away.

On Sunday, March 1, a post on the couple's official Facebook page confirmed his passing. Fans and music colleagues expressed their heartfelt empathy and compassion after reading the statement, which was purportedly written by his twin brother, Kehinde Adegbodu. 

Kehinde lamented his brother's abrupt departure in the tribute, wondering how he would handle life without him (Taiwo Adegbodu).

The post read, “TAIWO, why will you leave your kids and me without notification? My heart is bleeding, lord how do you want me to cope without him? God why? This is too much for me to bear!!!”

Colleagues and fans recalled the singer as a fervent preacher whose songs strengthened faith after the announcement. As at the time of writing, the cause of his death has not been revealed.
