Celebrity chef Hilda Baci from Nigeria has revealed the behind-the-scenes footage.  Her most recent record-breaking achievement—the largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice—was formally verified by Guinness World Records.  

On Monday, GWR revealed that Baci, in cooperation with food brand Gino Nigeria, had established a new record at Gino World Jollof Festival in Lagos, making 8,780 kg (19,356 lb 9 oz) of jollof rice.  

In a seven-minute video shared on Instagram the same day, Baci recounted the emotional wait with her family and loved ones until receiving a video call from a GWR official.  

On the phone as well was a representative of Gino Nigeria.  The official stated during the call that Baci had provided the required proof and that the recipe and distribution procedure complied with the organization's standards.

He then delivered the news saying, “With a total of 8,780kg Hilda Baci and Gino, you are the Guinness World Records title holders for the largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice. Congratulations, you are officially amazing!”

The GWR certificate and the Gino team commemorating the momentous accomplishment were also featured in the video.  In response to the confirmation, Baci expressed gratitude to her followers and team.
