The kidnapping of a council secretary and another individual at a poultry farm in the state's Akure North Local Government Area has been confirmed by the Ondo State Police Command. 

The victims were kidnapped on Monday morning at their farm along Kajola Road in Ilu-Abo, according to a statement released by the command's spokesperson, DSP Abayomi Jimoh. He named the kidnapped individuals as Esther Akinlolu "F" and Joseph Kayode "M." 

According to the News Agency of Nigeria, Kayode serves as the Secretary of the Akoko North-West Local Government Area's Okeluju Local Council Development Area.

According to Jimoh, the command's initial information suggested that three masked, armed individuals had broken into the poultry farm from a nearby thicket. 

He claims that the attackers fired intermittently into the air before transporting the victims to an unidentified location.
