Prince Ikechukwu Oloto, also known as Okanga Moo, a well-liked politician in Enugu State, is said to have been murdered by unidentified gunmen in the state's Nsukka Local Government Area.

On Thursday nite, Oloto was allegedly attacked and slain inside his home in Odenigbo, Nsukka.

Social media accounts claim that the attackers killed the politician with a knife.

The attackers' identity and motivations are still unknown, as are the incident's circumstances.

Social media influencer Sen. Chijinkem Ugwuanyi confirmed the news in a Facebook post, stating that Oloto was murdered at his Odenigbo home by unidentified gunmen.

Ugwuanyi wrote: “Prince Ikechukwu Oloto, aka ‘Okanga Mo’, was killed yesterday evening by unknown gunmen in Nsukka, right in his residence at Odenigbo.

“He was brutally cut into pieces.”

The Enugu State Police Command had not yet released an official comment regarding the incident as of the time this article was filed.
