Barrister Ismael Ahmed has been named Executive Chairman of the Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative (PCNGi) by President Bola Tinubu.  

Ahmed will oversee the presidential effort, which aims to mitigate the impact of eliminating fuel subsidies by providing more cost-effective, accessible, and environmentally friendly energy alternatives, according to a statement released Friday by presidential communications aide Bayo Onanuga.  

According to the Presidency, the Tinubu administration's palliative intervention program includes the PCNGi.
