Judge ejects Nnamdi Kanu from court over misconduct
Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), became disruptive during Thursday's hearings and was told to leave the courtroom by Judge James Omotosho of the federal high court in Abuja.
After the case was postponed for judgment, the judge dismissed three further applications that Kanu had submitted, calling them unmeritorious.
Kanu argued that because he had not yet submitted his last written address, the court could not proceed as it was getting ready to render its decision.
He raised his voice, accusing the court of being biased and asserting that Omotosho lacked legal knowledge. The trial judge responded by ordering Kanu to leave the courtroom.
