Prof. Olanike Adeyemo, the Secretary to the State Government, was relieved of her position with immediate effect after Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde reorganized his cabinet. 

Sulaimon Olanrewaju, his Special Advisor on Media, made this announcement on Monday in the state capital of Ibadan. Prof. Musibau Babatunde was named the new Secretary to the State Government, SSG, by the governor. 

Temilolu Ashamu was also transferred by the governor from the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources to the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning.

Ademola Aderinto, Makinde's Senior Special Assistant on Public Works, was also named a commissioner-designate. As a result, she will be screened by the state House of Assembly. 

The governor also designated Kolawole Elijah Akanmu as Senior Special Assistant on Budget and Economic Planning and Abiodun Adedoja as Special Advisor on Energy Security.
