In the parallel market, the value of the Naira increased from N1,455 to N1,447 per dollar on Tuesday to N1,447 yesterday. 

However, in the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market, or NFEM, the value of the naira dropped to N1,350 per dollar. 

According to data released by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the naira's indicative exchange rate increased from N1,349.5 to N1,350 per dollar on Tuesday, indicating a 50 percent depreciation. 

As a result, the difference between the official and parallel markets decreased from N105.5 to N97 per dollar on Tuesday.
