Naira appreciates to N1,385 per dollar in parallel market
On Monday, the Naira was worth N1,393 per dollar, while yesterday it was worth N1,385 per dollar on the secondary market.
Similarly, in the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market, or NFEM, the value of the naira increased to N1,337 per dollar.
According to data from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the naira appreciated by N7, and the indicative exchange rate dropped from N1,344 to N1,337 per dollar on Monday.
As a result, the difference between the official and parallel markets decreased from N49 to N48 per dollar on Monday.
