Naira appreciates to N1,545 per dollar in parallel market
In the parallel market, the value of the naira increased from N1,550 to N1,545 per dollar over the weekend.
Similarly, on the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM), the value of the Naira increased to N1,528.65 per dollar.
According to data released by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the value of the naira appreciated by N3.35 last Friday, when it dropped from N1,532 to N1,528.65 to the dollar.
As a result, the difference between the NFEM rate and the parallel market dropped from N18 to N16.35 per dollar over the previous weekend.
