On Thursday, the Naira was worth N1,570 per dollar, but today it was worth N1,565 per dollar on the parallel market.  Similarly, on the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM), the value of the naira increased to N1,534.9 per dollar.  

According to data released by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the value of the naira appreciated by one kobo, to N1,534.9 per dollar from N1,535 per dollar on Thursday.  

As a result, the difference between the NFEM rate and the parallel market decreased from N35 to N30.1 per dollar on Thursday.  

In relation to the dollar, the naira fell N1.1 and N10 this week in the official and parallel markets, respectively.
