The Naira fell from N1,480 per dollar on Tuesday to N1,490 per dollar in the parallel market yesterday. 

However, in the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market, or NFEM, the naira increased to N1,419.5 per dollar. 

The indicative exchange rate for the naira decreased to N1,419.5 per dollar from N1,420.25 per dollar on Tuesday, indicating a 75 kobo increase, according to data from the Central Bank of Nigeria, or CBN. 

As a result, the difference between the official and parallel markets increased from N59.75 to N70.5 per dollar on Tuesday.
