In the parallel market, the value of the Naira dropped from N1,546 to $1 on Wednesday to N1,552 yesterday.  

However, on the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM), the value of the Naira increased to N1,533 per dollar.  

The Central Bank of Nigeria, or CBN, released data indicating that the value of the naira appreciated by N4.2, as the exchange rate dropped from N1,537.2 to N1,533 per dollar on Wednesday.  

As a result, the gap between the NFEM rate and the parallel market increased from N8.8 to N19 per dollar on Wednesday.
