In the parallel market, the value of the Naira dropped from N1,550 to $1 on Monday to N1,555 yesterday.  

However, on the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM), the value of the Naira increased to N1,534.5 per dollar.  

The Central Bank of Nigeria, or CBN, released data indicating a 30 kobo appreciation in the value of the naira, with the exchange rate dropping marginally from N1,534.8 to N1,534.5 per dollar on Monday.  

As a result, the difference between the NFEM rate and the parallel market grew from N15.2 to N20.5 per dollar on Monday.
