The Naira fell from N1,467 per dollar on Tuesday to N1,475 per dollar in the parallel market yesterday.  

However, in the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM), the naira increased to N1,451 per dollar.  

The exchange rate for the naira dropped to N1,451 per dollar from N1,458 per dollar on Tuesday, according to data released by the Central Bank of Nigeria, or CBN, suggesting a N7 appreciation.  

Consequently, the difference between the NFEM rate and the parallel market grew from N9 per dollar on Tuesday to N26 per dollar.
