On Wednesday, the Naira was worth N1,450 per dollar; yesterday, it was worth N1,446 per dollar on the parallel market. 

However, the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market, or NFEM, saw the naira depreciate for the first time this week, reaching N1,368 per dollar. 

According to data from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the naira depreciated by N9, and the indicative exchange rate increased to N1,368 per dollar from N1,359 per dollar on Wednesday. 

As a result, the difference between the official and alternative markets decreased from N91 to N78 per dollar on Wednesday.
