In the parallel market, the value of the Naira increased from N1,530 to N1,525 per dollar on Monday to N1,525 yesterday.  

Similarly, on the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM), the value of the Naira increased to N1,506.5 per dollar.  

The naira appreciated by N6.5, according to data released by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), which indicated that the exchange rate dropped from N1,513 to N1,506.5 per dollar on Monday.  

As a result, the difference between the NFEM rate and the parallel market grew from N17 to N18.5 per dollar on Monday.
