In the parallel market, the value of the Naira increased from N1,537 to N1,530 per dollar on Wednesday to N1,530 yesterday.  

Similarly, on the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM), the value of the Naira increased to N1,490 per dollar.  

According to data released by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the value of the naira appreciated by N8 as the exchange rate dropped from N1,498 to N1,490 per dollar on Wednesday.  

As a result, the difference between the NFEM rate and the parallel market grew from N39 to N40 per dollar on Wednesday.
