In the parallel market, the value of the naira increased from N1,590 to N1,585 per dollar over the weekend.  

Similarly, on the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM), the value of the Naira increased to N1,543 per dollar.  

The Central Bank of Nigeria, or CBN, released data indicating that the value of the naira appreciated by N11, as the exchange rate dropped from N1,554 to N1,543 per dollar last Friday.  

As a result, the difference between the NFEM rate and the parallel market dropped from N36 to N26 per dollar over the previous weekend.
