NNPCL hikes fuel price
The price of premium motor spirit has been raised by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited.
According to the DAILY POST, NNPCL retail locations in Wuse Zones 6 and 4 have raised the price of gasoline at the pump from N890 to N905 per liter. This indicates that the nation's largest oil company raised its fuel pump by N15, or 1.7%.
Abubakar Maigandi, president of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, blamed the increase on supply disruptions brought on by the Dangote Refinery conflict and the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria.
However, he said that its members cost between N885 and N895 per liter to dispense gasoline.
“It is due to PENGASSAN’s strike disruption. However, members still sell at N885 and N895 per litre,” he said.
