Police arrest landlord, two other suspects over murder of AAUA students

A landlord and two other people have been detained by the Ondo State police for the kidnapping and killing of two students at Adekunle Ajasin University in Akungba-Akoko.  

In an interview with reporters about the command's recent accomplishments, State Commissioner of Police Mr. Adebowale Lawal made this announcement on Wednesday in Akure.  

According to Lawal, the two victims were Abah Friday, a 25-year-old man, and Okah Eloho, a 19-year-old woman who was his acquaintance.  

He added that Oladele Femi, the landlord, admitted to starting the conspiracy and helping to hide the killings.

The CP explained that the arrest was made following a petition dated June 24, 2025, submitted by G.O. Omoedu & Co., Legal Practitioners, on behalf of one Mr Emmanuel Peter of Shagari Village, Akure, Ondo State, Lawal said that the petition was written over the abduction of Peter’s younger brother, Friday and his friend, Eloho, who went missing on June 20, 2025.
