Police officer's son beheads 15-year-old brother in Ondo
For a senior police officer in Ondo State's Odigbo Local Government Area, it was a double tragedy when his 26-year-old son, Emmanuel ceremoniously decapitated his 15-year-old sibling.
As a result, the suspect, Daniel, was swiftly attacked and killed by irate young people in the town. The death of the police officer's two children has caused tension in the Agarian community.
Roland Akinkunmi, a local, informed reporters that the unsightly incident happened in the village on Monday night. He was shocked by what might have led to the heinous deed.
It was alleged that the older brother had enticed his younger brother, Emmanuel, to the remote Origbara River shores in the neighborhood.
When he noticed Daniel attempting to conceal the severed head in a black bag in his hands, an indigenous person from the town who was attempting to cross the river, according to Akinkunmi, sounded the alarm.
According to him, “I was around the palace when I had people shouting from the Origbara axis. On getting to find out what was happening, I saw Daniel holding a human head. I didn’t realise it was his brother’s head because I was confused.
“Daniel and Emmanuel are from the same parents, and their father is a respected police officer here.”
“We are all in shock. How could someone do this to his own blood? They are not from this community.
“The people in our community are still in shock at what could have come over him to have the thought of killing and beheading his own young brother.
