In Akure, the state capital, police detectives in Ondo state have apprehended four criminals and saved a woman who had been kidnapped at Weluwelu Street, Ilekun, Oda Road.  After responding quickly to a good Samaritan's distress call, the police detectives apprehended the suspected kidnappers.  

According to Vanguard, the woman was kidnapped by force at approximately 6:30 p.m., and a good samaritan alerted the police to the kidnapping of four young males in an unregistered Toyota Camry.  

However, in response to the intelligence, police officers from the Command promptly mobilized, strategically obstructed the suspects' path, and successfully intercepted the car, resulting in the rapid rescue of the victim and the arrest of all four attackers.

According to sources, the victim was kidnapped along Weluwelu Street in Ilekun, Oda, and was being transported to an unidentified location prior to the agents' timely intervention.

“ The timely coordination between the alert citizen and the rapid response of the Police proved pivotal in foiling what could have become another tragic case of abduction.

The suspects' unregistered car has been found and is being utilized as an exhibit, according to state police image maker Ayanlade Olayinka, who was contacted.  Four suspects have been taken into custody, according to Ayanlade, as covert investigations continue to unearth further information about the incident.  

He praised the police's quick action and expressed gratitude to the watchful citizen whose prompt intelligence helped the operation succeed.
