Twelve Commissioners of Police (CP) have been promoted to Assistant Inspectors General (AIG) by the Police Service Commission (PSC).  

Additionally, the Commission authorized the promotion of 27 Assistant Commissioners to Deputy Commissioners and 16 Deputy Commissioners to substantive Commissioners.  

Although his name was not stated, PSC declined to promote an Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) who was allegedly absent during the promotion process.

145 Chief Superintendents of Police were promoted to Assistant Commissioners by the Commission, including General Duty Police Officers and specialists like Airwing Officers, Medical Doctors, Dentists, Pharmacists, Lab Scientists, Physiotherapists, and Nurses.  Priests and airwing and aircraft engineers are among the others.  

Additionally, twenty-nine Superintendents of Police who were all specialists in the fields of information technology, works, and AFIS were elevated to the position of Chief Superintendent of Police.  

Additionally, the Commission gave its approval for 38 Deputy Superintendents (Specialists) to advance to the position of Superintendent.
