The recruitment portal for the Civil Defense, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) will open on October 28 and close on November 13.

Major General Abdul Malik Jibril (retd.), the board's secretary, revealed this on Thursday in Abuja.

Additionally, Jibril instructed applicants who had advanced to the oral portion of the hiring process to verify their status and submit to a required drug test with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in their home states.

He said there would be no cost associated with the drug test.
