Soludo, wife celebrate 33 years marriage anniversary
In a touching demonstration of love and dedication, the governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, and his wife, Nonye, celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary with a special Mass at their rural home in Isuofia, Aguata Local Government Area of the state.
As they celebrated this momentous occasion in their lives, the couple was accompanied by family, friends, dignitaries, some state civil servants, well-wishers, and community members.
His Eminence Peter Cardinal Okpaleke, the Catholic Bishop of the Ekwulùbügea Diocese, celebrated the occasion on Friday with a solemn Thanksgiving Mass. Okpaleke offered the governor and his wife a spiritual setting for prayers of gratitude, blessings, and continued prosperity.
Cardinal Okpaleke advised young couples to take inspiration from the governor's marriage to his wife and urged Christians to constantly rely on God in any circumstance during a homily. In his speech, Soludo thanked the public and his wife for their love and support throughout the years.
The governor also sent his sincere gratitude to everyone who participated in the festivities. As he thought back on their marriage, he emphasized the value of tolerance, comprehension, and shared principles in maintaining a peaceful home life.
