According to the Ekiti police command, a woman allegedly passed away on Tuesday after collapsing in a well-known hotel in the city of Ado-Ekiti.  

SP Sunday Abutu, the Police Public Relations Officer, informed reporters over the phone that the woman was a hotel employee.  According to Abutu, the woman was taken to the hospital and declared dead.  

In order to determine the reason of her death, he acknowledged that an investigation was underway and that several staff members had been invited to be questioned.  

Abutu added that an autopsy would be performed to help with the command's probe.
